PCR+C

PCR+C constant-wattage heating cables for refrigeration applications are available in 30 W/m and 40 W/m versions. They consist of heating modules that deliver a constant heat output, regardless of the ambient temperature. Featuring a highly flexible silicone sheath, these cables can be cut to length on-site and branched from a single power supply point (power is available along the entire length of the cable). They are designed exclusively for integration into cold room door frame gaskets and must not be used for general temperature maintenance applications.

Principle

PCR+C heating cables feature contact points every 60 cm; heating begins at the very first contact point. Connection is made at only one end of the heating cable.

  • Do not use on plastic piping (multilayer, PVC, etc.).
  • Strictly follow the instructions for use.
  • Warranty scope: max. 120°C when energized / -70 to 200°C when de-energized.

Applications

The PCR+C cable is primarily intended for use in industrial refrigeration applications:
> In cold room door gaskets
> For anti-condensation purposes
> Crucially, do not use for temperature maintenance
