CABT low-temperature self-regulating heating cables consist of a semi-conductive plastic heating element that adjusts its heat output (W/m) at every point according to the local temperature. This intrinsic characteristic of the semi-conductive heating element makes it possible, in certain cases, to dispense with a control system (self-regulation).
They can be cut to length on site, making them very easy to install.

- Freeze protection for cold water, chilled water, and greasy wastewater piping
- Temperature maintenance for pipelines and hot water tanks not exceeding 65°C (depending on heat loss)

Operationnal principle
Power output varies locally at every point based on the temperature of the surface on which the heating cable is installed.
The power output is determined by the manufacturer in accordance with standard EN 62395.

- Flame-retardant polyolefin sheath
- Flame-retardant polyolefin oversheath (CG or RG version)
- FEP fluoropolymer oversheath (CGf version)
- For corrosive and chemically aggressive environments
